Terms and conditions

These terms apply to all orders placed on melindadecor.art. You can save or print them at any time. In short: the vases are sold by Business Growth Solutions SRL, prices include VAT, you have 14 days to change your mind and a 2-year legal guarantee.

2. Who we sell to

We sell to consumers, meaning individuals buying for themselves rather than for a business or profession, and to businesses. Where a right applies only to consumers, we say so explicitly. You must be at least 18 to place an order.

3. Products and prices

Each product page shows the vase's material, dimensions, colour and photos. Because it is porcelain, shades may look slightly different from one screen to another.

Prices are in Romanian lei (RON) and include VAT. Delivery is charged separately and you see it in your cart before you place your order. On the English version of the site we may also show an approximate value in euros, for guidance only. Payment is always made in lei.

4. How the contract is made

You choose your products, fill in your delivery details and press the “Order with obligation to pay” button. From that moment your order is binding and involves an obligation to pay. We immediately email you a confirmation that we have received your order, with the products, the total price and these terms.

The contract is concluded when we confirm dispatch. If a product is no longer available or the displayed price was obviously wrong, we let you know before dispatch and refund you in full if you have already paid.

5. Payment

• Online by card, through the payment processor Stripe. We don't see or store your card details.

• Cash on delivery, paid to the courier, for deliveries in Romania only.

You receive the invoice by email.

6. Delivery

The countries we deliver to, the costs and the delivery times are on the Shipping and returns page. Unless we have agreed a different time, we deliver within 30 days of your order at the latest.

The risk of damage passes to you only when you receive the parcel. If a vase arrives broken or chipped, write to us with a photo of the parcel and the vase and we'll replace it or refund you, including delivery.

7. Right of withdrawal, 14 days

If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day you, or someone you name, take possession of the goods, without giving us any reason. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you, for example with a name, a dedication or a design chosen when ordering. We say so on the page of these products before you order.

8. Legal guarantee of conformity

For consumers, every product has a 2-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery. If the vase doesn't match its description or has a defect, you have the right to have it brought into conformity by replacement or repair, free of charge. If that isn't possible, you have the right to a price reduction or to terminate the contract and get your money back. The legal guarantee applies regardless of any commercial guarantee and costs you nothing.

The easiest way to tell us is by email, at [email protected], with a photo. Small variations in shade or glaze that come from the nature of porcelain and are visible in the product photos are not defects.

9. Using the vases

The vases are decorative objects. They are not intended for contact with food. Porcelain can break: keep the vases away from the edge of the table and from small children, and don't use them if they are chipped.

10. Your data

We use your data only to fulfil your order and, if you agree separately, to send you our newsletter. The details are in the Privacy policy and the Cookie policy.

11. Complaints and disputes

For any complaint, write to us at [email protected]. We'll reply as quickly as we can and look for a solution together.

As a consumer, you can also contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), including for alternative dispute resolution, at reclamatiisal.anpc.ro.

12. Governing law

The contract is governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer resident in another member state of the European Union, you continue to benefit from the protection of the mandatory rules of your country. Disputes with consumers are decided by the courts that have jurisdiction under the law, including those where the consumer lives.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Each order remains subject to the terms in force on the date it was placed.
